Tour De France | Large Wine Bottles

Marketing & Promotion

Initial Brief

We were approached by the designers at Grand Central to create two 12ft high giant wine bottles to be transported on two London Taxis for when the Tour De France came over to England in 2013. Plus an additional two 6ft bottles to be used on the promotional stand. We've made a number of 6ft bottles since the event.

Project Process

The original large and small bottles were machined out of polystyrene and then covered with layers of fibre glass and filled to create the smooth texture of a wine bottle.

Finished Pieces

The finished bottles were then sprayed with graphics applied. They were part of the Tour De France publicity caravan in 2013. We recently created two 6ft bottles for the Dutch leg of the Tour De France 2015 also.
